If the country where the document is to be used is a party to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961, consular legalization of that document is not required – an apostille stamp is sufficient enough to legalize the document.

This is the procedure for consular legalization of commercial documents. However, not all consulates legalize documents after the CCI seal has been affixed.
